Born 1963 in Shiga Prefecture, lives in Osaka.
World-renowned authority on robotics research, who has created a series of androids that look just like him, as well as Beicho Katsura, Soseki Natsume, and others. Professor (Emeritus Professor), Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University. Doctor of Engineering.
